At the VNA & Hospice of the Southwest Region, we are following guidelines set by the State of Vermont that determine when Vermont residents are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Right now, the vaccine is available to those who are 75 and over.
We understand you may be concerned for your parents who may not be able to get out of their home or for yourself or a loved one.
If you are homebound, meet State of Vermont eligibility requirements, and a current VNAHSR patient, we are working to provide you with a vaccination if you want to receive one. There is no need for you to call us. If you are eligible to receive the vaccine, we will reach out to you personally.
We are awaiting guidance from the State of Vermont, the Vermont Department of Health, and Centers for Disease Control (CDC) on the timing and availability of vaccines for our patients.
Our promise to you is that we will keep you informed every step of the way.
