VNA & Hospice of the Southwest Region Announces Employees of the Quarter

The VNA & Hospice of the Southwest Region, (VNAHSR), one of the state’s largest providers of skilled home health and hospice services, is proud to announce the recognition of two remarkable employees of the quarter, Jennifer Boland, MSW, Clinical Employee of the Quarter and Joseph Durfee, IT Specialist, as Non-Clinical Employee of the Quarter.

Employees of the Quarter are selected from nominations submitted by peers and acknowledge employees who go above and beyond their typical job duties and best reflect the agency values of honesty, excellence, accountability, teamwork, leadership, and helpfulness.

Clinical Employee of the Quarter 

Clinical Employee of the Quarter Boland was honored for her dedication to her patients, consistently going above and beyond to ensure they get the care they need at the time they need it. “Jen always makes sure her patients have everything they need, and even helps to coordinate care for them on her days off,” said a co-worker. “She is an example of excellence for all of her patients.”

Joseph Durfee, IT Specialist
Non-Clinical Employee of the Quarter

Non-Clinical Employee of the Quarter Durfee was recognized for his helpfulness, teamwork, and positive attitude. “Joe is always patient and quick to help resolve any issues, and he has the best attitude while helping,” explained a co-worker.
