The Dinners with Love Program is a partnership between VNA & Hospice of the Southwest Region and local restaurants to care for hospice patients and their families by providing free, delivered meals. Local restaurants opt to participate in the program by providing a meal to our Hospice patients, and our Hospice Volunteers pick up the meal from the restaurant, and deliver it to the patient.
The support of friends, family, and sometimes strangers can help those facing an end-of-life transition. Our Dinners with Love Program provides an opportunity for local restaurants to quietly offer a helping hand. It is not just a meal to a hospice patient and their caregiver, but a system that supports and nurtures them during the most vulnerable time of their life. It brings them community support and love in the form of a meal.
