The VNA & Hospice of the Southwest Region, (VNAHSR), one of the state’s largest providers of skilled home health and hospice services, is proud to announce the recognition of two exceptional employees of the quarter, Francetta Tice, RN, as Clinical Employee of the Quarter and Angela Whitehead, Case Manager as Non-Clinical Employee of the Quarter.

 Employees of the Quarter are selected from nominations submitted by peers and acknowledge employees who go above and beyond their typical job duties and best reflect the agency values of honesty, excellence, accountability, teamwork, leadership, and helpfulness.

Employees of the Quarter are selected from nominations submitted by peers and acknowledge employees who go above and beyond their typical job duties and best reflect the agency values of honesty, excellence, accountability, teamwork, leadership, and helpfulness.

Parent Grief Support Offered in Bennington

The VNA & Hospice of the Southwest Region is offering a new monthly grief support group specifically for those who have lost a child of any age. The group is facilitated by Lori Rogers, Spiritual Care Coordinator at the VNA & Hospice of the Southwest Region. The group will meet every third Tuesday of every month, beginning February 21st at the VNA & Hospice of the Southwest Region, located at the Putnam Block, 335 Main St., Office C in Bennington from 6-7 pm. The option to join the group virtually is also available. Group support meetings are free and open to the public. RSVP to 802.442.0540. Masks are required.

Living with Loss Grief Support Offered in Bennington and Manchester

The VNA & Hospice of the Southwest Region offers weekly grief support groups in January and February. The groups are facilitated by Lori Rogers, Spiritual Care Coordinator at the VNA & Hospice of the Southwest Region, and Jamie Losikoff-Kent, LCSW and Hospice Volunteer

Tree of Remembrance Ceremony to be Broadcast on Facebook  

Commemorate a loved one by participating in the 2022 VNA & Hospice of the Southwest Region’s Annual Tree of Remembrance Ceremony. A Golf Day Fore VNA Benefits Home Health and Hospice Care

The VNA & Hospice of the Southwest Region raised more than $16,500 at the recent Golf Day Fore VNA hosted at the Mount Anthony Country Club in Bennington. Funds will support the agency’s home care and hospice programs. Last year, the home health and hospice agency served over 3,900 individual patients last year in Bennington and Rutland County and made 116,571 home visits.

The VNA & Hospice of the Southwest Region, (VNAHSR), one of the state’s largest providers of skilled home health and hospice services, recognized Richard (Rich) Marantz, RN, a Hospice nurse as Clinical Employee of the Quarter and Sharon Cseh, Executive Assistant as Non-Clinical Employee of the Quarter.
