VNA & Hospice of the Southwest Region Named as a Top Agency in the 2018 Ability HomeCare Elite

The Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice of the Southwest Region (VNAHSR) today announced that it has been named a Top Agency of the 2018 HomeCare Elite, recognition of the top-performing home health agencies in the United States. For 13 years, HomeCare Elite has annually identified the top 25 percent of Medicare-certified agencies and highlighted the top 100 and top 500 agencies overall. The VNAHSR has been recognized 10 times in the past 13 years.

Dancing with the Rutland Stars Winners Announced

In front of a sold-out crowd at the Paramount Theatre, Praveen Keshava, MD, owner, and ophthalmologist at Central Vermont Eye Care and Sam Ho, a dance instructor at Cobra Gymnastics and Dance Center were presented with the Mirror Ball Trophy as the Judges Choice at the eighth annual Dancing with the Rutland Stars.

VNA & Hospice of the Southwest Region Recognizes Employees of the Quarter

The Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice of the Southwest Region (VNAHSR) named Janelle Cummings, DPT as the Clinical Employee of the Quarter and Marc Miele as the Non-Clinical Employee of the Quarter.
Employees of the Quarter are selected from nominations submitted by colleagues and acknowledge employees who go above and beyond their regular job duties and best reflect the agency values of honesty, excellence, accountability, teamwork, leadership and helpfulness.

Employees of the Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice of the Southwest Region (VNAHSR) took center stage at the Equinox Hotel for the agency’s annual employee award celebration. The yearly event recognizes employees who have reached years-of-service milestones and highlights employees for specific awards: the Employee of the Year, Unforgettable Employee and HEALTH Matters Award Winners.

Marc Miele Wins Producer Award for Public Access TV Programming

Marc Miele, Marketing Coordinator at the VNA & Hospice of the Southwest Region

Marketing Coordinator Marc Miele was honored recently with the Romeo Award at Rutland Regional Community Television’s (PEGTV) Annual Meeting. The Romeo Award is presented every year for a producer of a public access show on one of the stations three channels. Miele produces “The Homecare Connection” a monthly show focused on the diverse array of programs and services provided by the Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice of the Southwest Region (VNAHSR).
