Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice of the Southwest Region Recognized at Annual Lamplighter Awards

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he VNA & Hospice of the Southwest Region (VNAHSR) has been recognized with four awards from the New England Society for Healthcare Communications (NESHCo) to honor achievements in healthcare marketing, public relations and communications.

VNAHSR won two Gold Lamplighter Awards in the Image and Branding category and Advertising category for its entry, “Hello, My Name is…” a campaign designed to unify the organization under one name. A Silver Lamplighter Award in the Publications category for the re-design of the agency’s brochures and an Award of Excellence for the re-designed patient handbook in the special purpose publications category. All work was produced in-house. This is the first year that the home health and hospice agency has been recognized for their work.

The Lamplighter Awards hosted by The New England Society for Healthcare Communications (NESHCo) are designed to showcase exemplary work spanning multiple media categories. Segmented by in-house production and agency produced, The Lamplighter Awards consisted of hundreds of entries from the six states in New England and are judged by a diverse panel of marketing professionals in Healthcare Marketing and Public Relations Societies from across the United States. Entries are scored on creativity, functionality and if stated objectives were met.
