April Hospice Volunteer Training

Maybe you’ve had a personal experience with hospice and want to give back. Perhaps you area student looking to complete community service hours, or maybe you simply have a heart for caring. Hospice volunteers are special. They provide invaluable support and in-home care to patients and their families. No matter what your reason for choosing to help us, we’re eager to find a volunteer opportunity that fits with your interests, availability and talents.

You Can Make a Difference: Volunteer for Hospice

VNAHSR provides training for those interested in becoming hospice volunteers. Training will be held on Friday, March 25th from 8am – 4pm in Bennington. Training is free and open to individuals 16 years of age and older. Volunteers need to pass a background check. No previous hospice and health care experience is required. Pre-registration, proof of COVID-19 vaccination and mask wearing during training are required.

Hospice Volunteers

The Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice of the Southwest Region is offering a one-day class for those interested in becoming hospice volunteers. Training will be held on Saturday, April 6th from 8am – 4:00pm in the Seminar Room at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington. Training is free and open to the public. Pre-registration is required.
