April Hospice Volunteer Training

Training is free and open to individuals 16 years of age and older. Volunteers need to pass a background check. No previous hospice and health care experience is required. Pre-registration, proof of COVID-19 vaccination and mask wearing during training are required.

The Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice of the Southwest Region is offering a one-day class for those interested in becoming hospice volunteers. Training will be held on Saturday, April 6th from 8am – 4:00pm in the Seminar Room at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington. Training is free and open to the public. Pre-registration is required.
