VNA & Hospice of the Southwest Region Launches New Podcast

RUTLAND, VT (April 18, 2019) – The VNA & Hospice of the Southwest Region (VNAHSR) has launched a new podcast, The Homecare Connection, a supplement to the successful public tv access show of the same name. The podcast focuses on empowering people to make a healthier decisions as they age and will provide solutions to individuals who are experiencing the challenges of caring for someone one who may need home health care as they age.

The podcast is geared toward anyone who wishes to take control of the many issues that affect us as we age.

The inaugural episode features Nicole Moran, MSN, BA, RN Director of Palliative Care & Hospice Services and Bernadette Robin, Director of Marketing discussing a special interactive workshop, Exploring Life’s Journeys. Future episodes will focus on having conversations about your medical and end-of-life care wishes, and about the latest technology that enables individuals with chronic illnesses to remain independent at home.

“We wanted to create a place to discuss proactive aging” said Bernadette Robin, Director of Marketing. “We will feature interviews with home health care and hospice experts who will help individuals discover practical information on healthy aging whether for themselves or a loved one.”
