The VNA & Hospice of the Southwest Region (VNAHSR) is re-opening its outpatient therapy clinic in Manchester with robust safety measures in place to protect the health of patients and staff.
“There are patients who, due to restrictions related to the Coronavirus, have not been able to access the therapy services they need,” said Nicole Moran, MSN, BA, RN and Chief Clinical Operations Officer of the VNA & Hospice. “We want our community to know we are now open and utilizing increased safety precautions to protect our patients and clinicians.”
To protect patients, appointments will be staggered and therapeutic equipment will be disinfected between uses. Patients will be pre-screened prior to their appointment through a series of questions about the patient’s health and any potential signs, symptoms or exposure to COVID-19. Patients will be temperature checked at entry before their appointment. Additionally, staff will utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) and patients will be asked to wear masks.
The VNA & Hospice of the Southwest Region’s Outpatient Therapy clinic is welcoming new and existing patients for physical and occupational therapy or an appointment with our certified hand therapist. Patients interested in making an appointment should call their care provider or call 802.362.6509
